Introduction:

In view of the increased development of the aquaculture industry in the southern region of Taiwan, the lots of problems have arisen such as the new species development, the new techniques introduction, and water qualities and management during the cultivation, which make the farmers unable to adapt, and they urgently require advice from experts. The Centre was established for:

• Assist the farmers to resolve the problems encountered in daily cultivation and provide relevant consulting countermeasures.
• Provide organizations with essential services on aquaculture science and technology
• Provide teachers and students of the Department of Aquaculture with the opportunities for practical teaching and practicing
• Provide teachers of Department of Aquaculture with the related support for the need to earn large-scale integrated projects.
